Recent Design Work

For my day job, I'm an Art Director in Private Brands for Peapod Digital Labs, an Ahold Delhaize company.  Below are some recent concepts.

My work is on shelves in Ahold Delhaize USA's grocery stores in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast: Food Lion, Giant, Martin's, Hannaford and Stop & Shop. I create packaging graphics from conception to completion, working with a wonderful team of creative directors, brand managers, art directors, photographers and illustrators, production designers, regulatory specialists and category development managers.

We also work on other brands you may recognize if you shop in our stores: Nature's Promise, Taste of Inspirations, Smart Living, Companion, Always My Baby, CareOne, Cha-Ching and Etos. I must give credit to the entire team. They are professionals through and through, bringing our brands to life (and making my work look great!).

Throughout my career I've designed for commercial printing. Regardless of the tools and methodologies, the essentials of working in an in-house creative studio have remained the same: 

Be creative; execute well; give kind, actionable direction; don't take it personally; and always, always try to have some fun.
